A Hat in Minecraft puts Hat Kid into Minecraft: Java Edition. A Hat in Time runs in the background and drives her real movement, model, animations and sounds, so she runs, jumps, dives and homing-attacks as in her own game. All five hats work with their abilities, along with badges, dyes and outfits (the Vanessa’s Curse ones if you own that DLC), the umbrella attacks, health pons and A Hat in Time’s health meter. Controllers use A Hat in Time’s layout.
It’s a single zip for Windows that sets up Prism Launcher, Minecraft, Fabric and Java on first launch. No game files are included: Minecraft is downloaded with your own account and Hat Kid is loaded from your own Steam install. The repository has no README or licence file, only the release.
