The Halo: Combat Evolved campaign running in your browser, with a Skate 3 board you can drop anywhere: push down the Pillar of Autumn, kickflip off the Silent Cartographer and keep shooting mid-trick.

What you can do

  • Press B (Y on a gamepad) to get on the board anywhere in the campaign; Master Chief stays the rider.
  • Flick-it tricks on the arrow keys or right stick: ollie, kickflip, heelflip, shove-its, nollie, hardflip, 360 flip, plus manuals, grabs and powerslides.
  • Grind rails are found automatically in each level’s collision; rails near you glow faintly.
  • Kills from the board land in your combo as “<trick> Kill” or “Airborne Kill”; on a gamepad, hold LB to aim and fire while riding.

Aim down sights, recoil, bots, health regen and killstreaks (UAV, care package, airstrike). Inspired by 2009-era military shooters.

Can I play Shooter × Skate online for free?
Yes. HaloSkate 3 runs in your browser with WebGL 2. It's free, there's no account, and you don't need any game files.
Is it made from the original games?
Partly. The engine is OpenCE, a CC0 decompilation of Halo CE, and the maps come from halo-cleanroom: every texture, sound and voice is regenerated from CC0 sources, while level geometry, collision, scripts and tuning are the original level data. The skating is a C++ port of skate-core from the Skate 3 Rust engine; no Skate 3 animations, meshes, textures or sounds ship. You don’t need any game files.
