Blockrealm: a Block-Builder in an Open-World RPG

Play an open-world fantasy RPG as a block-sandbox player: mine and place anything, blow craters with TNT, and fight raiders with block-game melee. A browser tribute to SkyCraft.

What you can do

  • The whole countryside is blocks: hills, a river, three villages and a hilltop keep. Dig through any of it.
  • Block-game melee: 3.2 m reach, a 0.6 s swing cooldown, knock-back that grows when you sprint, and critical hits while falling.
  • Raiders patrol the villages and the keep. They spot you, close in and swing; step back out of the wind-up.
  • TNT carves the terrain and chain-reacts. Build walls, dig in, or tunnel under a raider camp.

The modes

Voxel

Break and place blocks anywhere, light TNT, and build rail blocks you can grind. Inspired by voxel sandbox games.

Controls: 4 pickaxe/blocks · LMB break · RMB place · scroll block type · T TNT

FAQ

Can I play Voxel online for free?
Yes. Blockrealm runs in your browser with WebGPU or WebGL2. It's free, there's no account, and you don't need any game files. Desktop builds come from its GitHub releases.
Is it made from the original games?
No. Every mechanic is a clean-room implementation written from observed behaviour and published values, with original code and CC0 or self-made assets. The modes are inspired by voxel sandbox games.
How is this different from SkyCraft?
SkyCraft (Minecraft in Skyrim) links or rewrites the original games, so you need to own them and run it on a PC. This tribute recreates the same mechanics from scratch, so it runs instantly in a browser with no game files.
